Ash Baskerville

Ash Baskerville has extensive experience in the commercial structuring and management of capital projects and services corporations. Ash began his career in Australia, soon after completing degrees in both law and international business, by taking a posting on a coalmine development project in Australia's Bowen Basin, where he directed the commercial and project service requirements of a young mining company's flagship project. Following several years servicing the mineral processing and oil and gas industries in Australia, which included a role as Commercial Manger for a USD 4 billion gold mine development, Ash accepted the Director - Commercial with Aker Solutions' (and later Kvaerner) division to establish an international project execution centre in London. In this role Ash held functional responsibility for all commercial, compliance management and legal activities across Europe, Middle East and Africa. During this time, Ash negotiated a Joint Venture agreement to provide engineering services to Kashagan Phase II (mega project valued at USD 45 billion), led the development and implementation of commercial management and business administration standards and processes across the division, managed the establishment of the corporate entity structure for Kvaerner's new international division and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. More recently, Ash has worked across capital project sectors in various consultancy and management roles bringing his experience to resource development companies in the UK, Canada, USA and on projects in Africa, Central Asia and South America. His experience includes leading the commercial management of a number of large-scale project developments each exceeding USD 1 billion in capital cost value. His responsibilities in these roles have included overseeing commercial advisory, contracting, procurement, vendor management, project controls, project scheduling, document control and logistics functions. Ash has an astute understanding of the commercial risks associated with project development and execution and possesses extensive knowledge of the legal, insurance and financial aspects of construction and project relating contracting. Passionate about the need to adopt project strategies that drive commercial success, Ash can provide strategic direction as well as task-based management of all commercial orientated project activities.

Danny has worked within the Local Government environment for 35 years, most spent within the Merseyside and Cheshire Counties. Throughout his impressive working life Danny has amassed an extremely high level of skills and knowledge of how the local government sector works, having fulfilled operational roles through to trategic and eventually Directorships, more recently with Liverpool City and Cheshire West & Chester Councils. His experience has seen him lead and facilitate large scale contract and organisational reviews and transformation programmes and he is highly regarded in the region for his strong personable relationships with elected members, Mayors and Senior Officers. Danny has been an active member of the regional authorities leading on Best Practice Asset Management & Procurement, having taken an active role implementing recommendations and guidance developed by HMEP, ADEPT, APSE, UKRLG and currently LCRIG in the North West. Danny has an excellent knowledge of local government legislation and policies, and has developed and deployed numerous term maintenance contracts and network performance contracts throughout his working life.
