A keen climber and mountaineer, Michael has over a decade of experience with work at height equipment, skills, and training methods across a variety of industries and in a number of countries. His experience is backed by degrees in Disaster Management and Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management. Because of this he is able to draw on a broad spectrum of knowledge, skills and experience to find the best solutions for you as well as your employees, customers and the general public. Michael enjoys meeting people from all walks of life and celebrates diversity in his work.

Richard Garlant

Richard has twenty years experience of safely working at height that predates the Work at Height Regulations 2005! Previously an engineer, he became a technical trainer for a number of safety equipment manufacturers. He began consulting in 2005 and has provided expert advice to companies of all sizes across the globe. This has included designing training centres, delivering train the trainer courses for working at height and rescue in the onshore and offshore oil inductry, and teaching the installation and maintenance of vertical and horizontal safety systems. An accomplished sailor, Richard has an exceptional technical knowledge of the dangers posed by weather, potential and applied forces. Having travelled the world for work and pleasure he finds it easy to get on with anyone and work through an interpreter.
