Madinah Kaolack is the City founded by Shaykh Ibrahim Niass,, RTA after he was forced to leave his father's town of Tayba Niassene due to persecutions and enmity after his Star shone during the period following his declaration of being the Sahibu-l- Faydah, and that Allah had granted him special kinds of knowledge unknown to most people of his time.

Shaykh Ibrahim came with the special knowledge of taking any devotee into a journeying of the soul or spirit so as to gain higher consciousness of the relationship between him and his Maker. The concept of training a devotee to becoming an adept in Allah's knowledge is not new but the method of the past Age was incapable of being readily transmittable. So when Shaykh emerged Allah gave him the permission to wake people up from spiritual slumber through a unique training of tarbiyyah.
