Alannah joined ASL in February 2022. In her role as Project Officer, she is responsible for providing project support for the product testing process, guiding the clients through the journey and coordinating the work with partner labs. Alannah has extensive project and contract coordination experience, most recently supporting British Columbia's Healthcare incentive funding and evaluation projects based in Vancouver, Canada. She has worked in a variety of industries (Finance, FMCG, Motor, Tech, Arts & Culture and Healthcare) and prides herself on her organisational and interpersonal skills. Having graduated from NUI Maynooth with a First Class Honours in her BA of History and Ancient Classical Studies, Alannah also has a keen analytical ability. In her spare time, Alannah likes to hike, paint, take photos and bake. She is also a keen traveller, having lived both in Canada and New Zealand.

Brand building experience is the hallmark of his strategic business understanding. He have effectively led the organisation with consistent bottom line achievement. Anna is mum of three children. Her eldest daughter has allergies and she suffers from allergies and asthma herself. She is a qualified doctor who worked in both hospital medicine and as a General Practitioner for a number of years. Anna studied medicine in Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland graduating with an honours degree in Medicine in 1997. Anna is also a qualified Dentist graduating with an honours degree and won the prize in oral medicine, oral surgery and oral pathology. She is an award winning author, most recently being runner up in the Baileys First Chapter Women's Prize for Fiction.

John is a medical entrepreneur and currently the CEO of Allergy Standards Ltd (ASL), an international standards and certification body, a company he founded while working as an Emergency Room Doctor. As the founder he has led the development of an international intellectual property portfolio of patents and trade mark applications and negotiated complex licensing agreements with multinationals such as P&G and 3M. Along the way he has secured significant equity investments as well as academic and industry grant awards. As a serial entrepreneur, John is involved in a number of successful healthcare related ventures. In addition to his entrepreneurial and business activities, John maintains an interest in university research and knowledge exchange practices. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Centre for Practice and Healthcare Innovation, Entrepreneur in Residence in the Faculty of Health Sciences, guest lecturer at Trinity College Business School, and a member of the Knowledge Transfer & Innovation Committee, Trinity College Dublin. John qualified as a doctor from Trinity College Dublin, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and also holds his United States Medical Licensing exams. He maintains a keen interest in clinical medicine and has had several publications in medical journals. After medicine John graduated first in his class from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) Business Incubator Programme, graduated with distinction from the DIT business school with a post graduate diploma in International Selling, and won the Docklands Innovation Park lead entrepreneur award. John was awarded a US Congressional citation by Congressman Brendan Boyle for his collaboration with The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHoP), culminating in successful enhancement of an asthma intervention and education project. Dr John O'Mahony

Dr O'Mahony graduated from the University College Cork's Medical School with a combined Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree in 1997. After a 1-year internship Dr O'Mahony was accepted to the Dublin Basic Surgical Training Program for a 2-year program that culminated in him being granted a Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (MRCSI) after a 3-part exam. Dr O'Mahony managed the launch of the Asthma and Allergy Friendly® Certification Program in North America in cooperation with the Asthma Society of Canada and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. Dr O'Mahony stepped down as President of ASL in 2008 in order to start his family medicine residency program at the University of Western Ontario. He completed his residency program and passed his CCFP exams in 2010. Dr O'Mahony established his own family practice and has been working fulltime in North America since. He is an Adjunct Professor of Family Medicine, at the Western Schulich School of Medicine, London, Ontario and enjoys teaching medical students and residents from Western and other medical schools in Canada and Internationally. In addition to his office practice he also delivers babies; cares for his patients in hospital; works in the emergency department; performs minor operative procedures and joint injections in ambulatory care; conducts a newborn circumcision clinic; and is the medical director of Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Sarnia.

Emma has over twelve years' experience in Executive Support, Senior Administration, and Event Management roles within corporate, academic, and not-for-profit sectors including Trinity Foundation, Trinity College Dublin; The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland; NCB Stockbrokers Ltd; Deloitte & Touche, and Chill insurance Ltd. Emma is an accredited Psychotherapist and has combined her work in the corporate arena with her private Psychotherapy practice for a number of years. Emma graduated from National University of Ireland, Maynooth, with a BA (Hons) in Media Studies and English. Ongoing professional and personal development is a passion of Emma's, and since graduating Emma has been awarded a HDip (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, an MA (Hons) in Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Event Management, and is a certified trainer in Training Delivery and Evaluation. Jennifer Whelan - COO

Jennifer has been with Allergy Standards Ltd since 2016. In her role as Chief Operating Officer she oversees the company's operations and procedures, and ensures the efficiency of our business operations. She leads the development and embedding of standard operating procedures, business practices, coordination structures, and monitoring systems, to ensure that our team is equipped to deliver long-term success. She has a management role in the joint ventures that run certification programs in the USA and in Canada, and in product testing and standard development. She leads on portfolio project management, to drive our work in the direction of our strategic objectives and ensure that our team is aligned around our strategic goals. Jennifer has a wide range of experience and skills in operations, project management, data analysis, policy development, team management, working in international and multi-cultural contexts, inter-personal and public communication, event management, human resource management, and service provision. She has academic qualifications in Psychology and French (BA, 2002), International Relations (MA, 2005), Statistics (Higher Diploma, 2016), and Strategic Project Management (Special Purpose Diploma, 2018). Jennifer was an Irish diplomat for 9 years, working for the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade both at its headquarters in Dublin and on overseas postings to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and Beijing, China. During that time, some of the projects she led on included: Project management of the design and construction of a new chancery (office) building in Ethiopia, under significant budgetary constraints and in a difficult operating environment. Chairing of the donor human rights working group in Ethiopia for over a year. Management of the Department's Reconciliation Fund, which awards up to 2.7 million each year in small grants to organisations delivering peace-building activities in Northern Ireland. Development of a three-year Reconciliation Fund Strategy for the Department of Foreign Affairs' peace-building funding in Ireland, which was subsequently implemented. Management of a trade mission to China by the Minister for Education and a senior delegation from 12 Higher Education Institutions. Opening of a new Irish Consulate General in Hong Kong. Jennifer speaks French, Chinese, Irish and German. She is a member of Ireland's panel of EU and OSCE election observers. In 1975, at its inception, Peter joined GPA group plc working closely with its founder, and also founder of Ryanair,, Tony Ryan as Vice President Finance and Executive Director until 1990. At GPA he was closely involved in the formation of the Company's evolving strategy and the execution of its policies. From 1991 to 2001 Peter was an Executive Director of Irish Life and Permanent plc as Head of Corporate Strategy. More recently he served as a non-Executive Director of a number of a public and private companies including the Irish Aviation Authority from 2008 - 2012.

In his role as CFO, Nick is responsible for managing the finance activities of the company as well as linking the company's strategic objectives with the financial goals of the business by ensuring a high performance culture. Providing leadership and direction to ASL as part of the Executive Team, maintaining stakeholder and investor relations, ensuring good corporate governance and risk management. Nick has over 13 years experience working in multinational professional services businesses in various Finance Leadership roles. The most recent of which was in the role of Regional Head of Financial Systems & Reporting as part of the Senior Leadership team for a large multinational. During his time in this role he was responsible for delivering multiple ERP System migrations for different entities within the group, the implementation of a Business Intelligence tool, Financial & Project Reporting as well as Business Process design and implementation. Nick has extensive experience in reporting, modelling and strategic analysis. Nick also served as a Trustee on the company Pension Board. Nick graduated from the University of South Africa with a Bachelor of Business Administration, following this he went on to complete his CIMA Professional qualification becoming an Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and receiving the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. Tracy joined Allergy Standards as office manager in 2008 and is responsible for the general day-to-day running of the office. Tracy has spent all of her career working in administration and sales in various business sectors. She became interested in the medical profession after working as an administrator for the BUPA Ireland Health@Work Team where she was responsible for medical reports, invoicing and coordination of all health screening projects.
