The Mississippi Armed Forces Museum Foundation exists to spread awareness of the contributions made by members of the armed forces of Mississippi and the United States to the state and nation and the citizens thereof in preserving freedom, serving in support if various governmental functions in disasters and other situations, and in preserving the peace. We accomplish our mission by preserving and sharing the stories of Mississippi's military history at the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum at historic Camp Shelby... The Mississippi Armed Forces Museum collection celebrates the state of Mississippi and the brave Mississippi service members who have contributed to the United States Armed Forces.
