With a gentle touch and great attention to detail, Dr. Whitney Odom prides herself on being a compassionate listener. She believes in a team approach to cat care, working with you to choose the treatment that best suits the needs of you and your cat.
A Triangle native, Dr. Odom received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. She earned the College's Award for Excellence in Feline Medicine. Dr. Odom has been designated a Cat-Friendly Veterinarian by the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She has extensive experience in private practice, serving the Charlotte Metro and Triangle areas over the last decade-plus.
In 2022, Dr. Odom founded Atrium Cat Hospital, with the goal of reinventing the entire vet experience for cats and their caregivers. She understands how stressful a trip to the vet can be, so she set out to create an environment where everything revolves around comfort.
Outside the office, Dr. Odom can be found reading, listening to podcasts, enjoying the great outdoors, and playing Hot Wheels, if her kids have their way. She is a diehard fan of the show Survivor and a baked good enthusiast, as long as someone else does the baking. Dr. Odom shares her home with her husband, two young children, a scruffy mutt named Jax, and two cats, Cameron and Pepper.
