Barlborough Medical Practice was formed in 1993, and has seen a steady growth in practice list size from its opening. There are 2 full time GP principles, Dr Andrew Palmer MBChB (Leicester1984), DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP, and Dr. Gemma Lovelock... We offer a wide range of medical services atboth branches including Child Health, contraceptive services, flu clinics, minor surgery including cryotherapy, maternity medical services, health visitor baby clinics and counselling. We also undertake a regular surveillance of chronic illness and provide anticoagulation monitoring. We are a dispensing practice, meaning that we are able to provide medications directly to any of our patients who live more than a mile from a Chemist... We are dedicated to offering the best level of Primary care we can for our patients. Systems are in place to make our service run as efficiently as possible. At busy times however, or if consultations are running over, your wait may be longer than expected.
