Tina's story begins at age 11, long before the spa or product line came to be, when she began battling acne. Instead of resorting to harsh medication like doctors suggested, she chose to see a facialist... By the time Tina was 13, she knew this was what she wanted to do. She remembers telling her mom that it was her dream to become a facialist with her own spa. With her support, that's exactly what Tina did. By the age of 16 she had already received her esthetician's certificate and spent all of her free time working at a nearby salon. Soon after she began looking for the perfect location to open her very own spa. With the help of her mom who was a real estate agent, Tina found her dream spot on Ventura Blvd. where Tina•K Skin Studio is located today. At only 20 years old, her OWN spa was open for business!...
