The Boston Retinal Implant Project (BRIP) was established by Dr. Joseph F. Rizzo and Prof. John Wyatt in the late 1980s as a collaboration among Harvard Medical School, the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
