YP Malhotra agreed & started Manufacturing unit in 1964 in Goregaon By the name BOMBAY ENGINEERING WORKS, we were manufacturing tray dryers & were sold by Bakubhai Ambalal they were our sole selling agents till 1984. As time passed the profit margin on tray dryers went on declining as a result sole selling agency agreement was terminated & only commision was paid for any order brought by them... This business was started by my Father Late Shri Y.P Malhotra , he was a Chemical Engineer in the year 1957 from UDCT Matunga , now called ICT Matunga Mumbai. After completing his Chemical Engineering he had taken up job in Amar Dye Chem Shahad , Kalyan , as project engineer , full plant was erected by him at Shahad near Kalyan Thane.
