Burghclere Pre-School was established in January 1999 with just four children. It was the brain-child of a group of mums who felt there was a need for a pre-school within the village. Over fifteen years on we are now a well estbalished pre-school with a fantastic team and are proud of our community routes... The pre-school is based in Portal Hall, the local village hall which gives a fantasic space to work in. We have a secure outdoor play area which we use daily. Inside, we have a extensive range of equipment which we use to create learning zones, helping us to cover all the areas of learning as directed in the Early Years Foundation Stage framework... Burghclere Pre-School offers a pre-school education to children between two and five years old in Burghclere Village, five miles from Newbury in Berkshire
