CANYON SUMMITS - Key Persons

Joe started as an owner and operator of radio stations, with extensive experience in building and moving tower sites for stations. He founded and built two significant tower companies in New England with his business partner, Bob Maccini. He has built several digital media companies, and an angel investment firm. He loves to fish.

Mike began his career in logistical engineering at General Electric Corporation. He has operated as a serial entrepreneur for the past 25 years starting many businesses in the wireless field. He has owned and operated hundreds of towers with his long-standing business partner Steve Kotfila. Mike traveled to Iraq with a backpack in an effort to consult with the armed forces on telecommunication issues in the height of the Gulf War. His hero is Audie Murphy and he is a former hockey player; two favorite players are Bobby Orr and Avalanche's Cal Makar.

Bob started his career as a commercial banker and then investment banker in the media and telecom industries. He has owned and operated radio stations and telecom tower companies with his business partner, Joe Gallagher. Together they are investors in numerous digital media companies through their angel investment firm. Maccini has served on many boards including those of publicly traded companies. He loves to sail.

Steve is a wireless professional with over 30 years of industry experience. He spent the first decade of his career; as an engineer at Bell Atlantic Mobile (predecessor to Verizon Wireless) and then as a development manager at Sprint PCS, overseeing Sprint's launch and development of their wireless network throughout the New England region. Thereafter, Steve departed the wireless carrier side of the industry in order to form a long-standing and successful business partnership with Mike Mathews, primarily focused upon the development of wireless infrastructure at various locations around the country. Steve is a veteran of the US Navy and an avid cyclist with a love for craft beer.
