CATALINA LODGE

The Black family has run Catalina Lodge since 1976. Ron and Beverly Black enjoyed bringing their sons to the island each summer, and they eagerly accepted when the opportunity to move to Catalina arose. Cat Lodge's loyal visitors often returned yearly until Ron and Beverly closed the motel several years ago. Ron and Beverly's son, Bruce, and his wife, Roberta, reopened the lodge to island visitors in 2010. Bruce and Roberta were married on the island. Their daughters spent summers and school vacations helping their grandparents run the family business and getting into trouble.
