Our site is authored and published by Claudia Lowe, owner of Claudia Marie Design. Claudia has owned and run her own brick and mortar cakery & patisserie; branded and launched her own line of chocolates and dessert mixes, baking mixes and farm to table desserts; developed her own signature recipes; launched her own dessert catering business (cakery & chocolateria); is a tasting and pairing consultant; teaches cake decorating and candy making, and with her law degree* shares her experiences and knowledge of Cottage Food Operations and building a food business... This site is our way of providing education and raising awareness about the value and efficacy of Cottage Food Artisans and Cottage Food Operations.
