Bill was co-founder and co-CEO of TradeStation Group for 25 years and is an E&Y Florida Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner. Bill trained as a classical concert-violinist at The Juilliard School of Music and University of Miami. Bill Cruz, the CEO and Chief Investment Officer, is the son of Cuban immigrants and came to the United States at the age of five. He began studying violin at the age of eight and was quickly identified as an exceptional talent. He studied with some of the greatest violin teachers of the time, including Dorothy Delay, who also taught Itzhak Perlman. Bill won numerous competitions, awards and scholarships and eventually studied at the University of Miami and The Juilliard School of Music with the goal of becoming a concert violin soloist. During that time, TradeStation won numerous industry awards, including the prestigious "Best Broker" award by Barron's Magazine. Jay received a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from University of South Florida.
