This section profiles African countries and the international instruments they are part of - mainly the African Union Convention on Cybersecurity and Protection of Personal Data (Malabo Convention), Convention for the protection of individuals with regarding the processing of personal data (Convention 108), Economic Community of West African States Supplementary Act on Personal Data Protection (ECOWAS SAPDP), East Africa Community Framework on Cyberlaws (EAC Framework), and Southern Africa Development Commission Model Law on Data Protection (SADC).
