Operating since 1967, we are the world's longest-running gorilla research site. Our research also focuses on understanding many of the unique animals and plants that share the gorillas' forest home... Education is key to empowering people and creating the next generation of conservationists. We work directly with African educational institutions to train hundreds of young scientists each year... Our mission - to save gorillas. We do this through a holistic approach that stands on four key pillars. From education to training and protection to research, our work is ensuring a future for gorillas for generations to come.
