Bill Marshall - CTO

Bill Marshall, PhD, Chief Technology Officer, has spent his entire career developing, verifying and building renewable energy technologies as director of the Renewable Energy Department at Sandia National Laboratory (SNL) in Albuquerque, NM and as the deputy director at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, CO. Bill holds several advanced degrees in engineering with a PhD in Thermodynamics.

Dave Gerke

Dave Gerke holds 35 years of experience in the Design-Build Industry, specifically in the area of Architectural Design and Construction Management. He has a diversified portfolio and his field of expertise is in the design and construction of commercial, industrial, institutional, residential real estate and in tenant improvements. Dave has completed projects for private industry, specifically in healthcare/medical facilities, and for federal, state and local government agencies, as well as various departments of the military. He is also experienced in building demolition, hazardous material abatement, quality control, construction scheduling, contract execution, change-order negotiation, and construction administration. He is well-versed in the Design-Build, Total Quality Management (TQM) and partnering management philosophies currently embraced in government contracting. His projects have resulted in a high level of customer satisfaction, national awards, and several letters of commendation saluting outstanding quality and design. Dave is both a licensed architect and general contractor, with experience of 25+ years with Harper Construction and 35+ years in the building industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois and is a licensed architect in the State of Illinois and California.

Don Swick

Don Swick PE, CEM, CEA, LEED AP has almost 40 years of experience performing design, specification and installation of HVAC and control systems. He has extensive experience with energy auditing, energy analysis techniques, computer simulation for building envelopes, central plants, HVAC equipment, lighting and control systems. Don's other specialties include systems design and analysis including thermal storage systems, variable refrigerant flow, ground source heat pumps, and other renewal technologies including solar (thermal and PV), as well as Electrical Utility Demand Response application analysis.
