FAMILIES IN ACTION

Families in Action is a new organization created to mobilize and support Black and Latino parents to advocate for changes that benefit their children. The concept is to strengthen the role families play in education via a program that places families in the middle of reimagining and rebuilding schools, particularly in underserved communities... Families are essential partners in the education of their children and are empowered to rebuild and reimagine learning and well-being in our schools. Families are the first teachers of their children and uniquely powerful assets that enrich our schools and lead the family and the child to succeed in learning and in life.
