Del Norte Credit Union's story is one of significant growth and success - founded in 1954 as Los Alamos Scientific Lab Credit Union and serving as the first financial institution in Los Alamos, the organization became a community charter in 1981 and expanded financial services and offerings to surrounding communities... Following a successful merger in 1998, the financial institution became Del Norte Credit Union in April, 1999 and now serves more than 50,000 members throughout New Mexico with a robust suite of financial services and a dedication to outstanding customer service... We are a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution which embraces the culture and community traditions of New Mexico.
