GIFTMILK

The Giftmilk programme is the first initiative of NFN wherein 200 ml of flavoured milk fortified with vitamin A and D (as per FSSAI standards) is distributed among government school children on all school working days through a dairy cooperative under CSR allocations... National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) felt the need for a focused initiative to provide nutrition support through milk to children from weaker sections, during its Golden Jubilee year 2015-16, the NDDB Foundation for Nutrition (NFN) was set up on 9th October, 2015. NFN is promoted by the NDDB, its subsidiaries (Indian Immunologicals Limited ,IDMC Limited , Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetables Private Limited) and Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation.
