The Harbour Psychotherapy Practice was founded by four Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists who trained together at the British Psychotherapy Foundation. Each of our clinicians has developed a broad range of knowledge and experience working with children, young people and families in the NHS. They have worked in settings ranging from in-patient adolescent departments, to looked after children services, eating disorder services and general child and family clinics... During the assessment sessions, we aim to reach a shared understanding with the family of the difficulties experienced and, subsequently, to agree on the best way forward. This might be starting psychotherapy or, if another treatment would be better suited, to signpost you to it... A professional psychotherapy service for children, young people and families. We offer a confidential, highly specialist assessment and treatment service for a wide range of emotional, behavioural and developmental difficulties.
