High Plains Tree Works (HPTW) initially began as a commercial and roadside clearing company called Agriclear in 1995 and worked its way into contractor/subcontractor roles for tree removal services in the central and panhandle areas of Texas. In 2002, our company began to see an emerging need to adopt a "whole-life " continuum in how we approach tree work since we were working with Heritage live oak trees that were up to 200 years old and the level of public/professional scrutiny was not to be taken lightly when it came to performing Arborist services. The Whole-life continuum encompasses a five-step process starting with Planning, Preparation, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery and all of this can occur on a single tree.
