Angela V. B. Hudson

Since founding Hudson Art Advisors in 2017, Angela has assisted a variety of collectors and estates with services ranging from soliciting proposals and valuations of items for sale to overseeing the transport and installation of Angela's expertise in the art of negotiation, appraisals, and securing significant auction contributions was finely honed during her 35-year career with Sotheby's Inc., one of the world's most prestigious auction houses. From 1988 to 1990 she served as Vice President, National Director of Trust and Estate Services in the New York office. She subsequently relocated to Philadelphia, was appointed Senior Vice President, Director of the Philadelphia Office in 1999, and thereafter named Regional Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region. Angela is a sought-after lecturer nationwide on topics such as The Current Art Market, The Jewelry Market, The 10 Criteria of Collecting, among others, and has taken part in numerous panel discussions related to the IRS Advisory Service. She has contributed her skills and expertise to the Academy of Music, Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Brandywine River Museum, the Philadelphia Antiques Show, Boys Latin Charter School, and the Norma Pfriem Breast Care Center in Southport CT.
