HV Shred was launched when Jeff Papo began looking around at the possibility of outsourcing his shredding responsibility. As co-owner of Tuminaro Pharmacy in Hopewell Junction, NY, he was becoming overwhelmed with the volume of shredding his business was generating. The options available were expensive and limited to out-of-town businesses. His concern for the safety of his patients' information, his own liability, and the desire to use a local business mounted to the point where he felt the need to find a better solution. Together with his accountant wife, Judith, and his craftsman father, Fran, Jeff formulated the solution: HV Shred... We always want to know: What can we do better? What other service can we offer to serve the data security needs of the community?... HV Shred provides mobile document and paper shredding services for businesses within the Hudson Valley and surrounding communities.
