Back in 2013, Hubbell Woodshop started in Taylor and his wife Heather's one-car garage. We began building various furniture items to fill our first home together. From there, a daily pursuit of uncompromising progress began. Countless hours have been spent on research, study and exercise in getting better, trying new joinery types, exploring various finishes and continuously dissecting the trade in all matters of the process. Shortly thereafter, we began receiving commissioned projects as part-time work while juggling a full-time career in the corporate world. Over the next few years the woodwork orders continued to demand more time and the decision finally came. In January 2019 Hubbell Woodshop evolved from a part time side hustle into a full time career. The business itself has grown from a 200 sqf. garage space to a 1000+ sqf. Woodshop in Canoga Park, CA.
