Alison Whitehead

Alison joined Inspire People having previously acted as an external coach to the Inspire team, acting as an independent sounding board and enabling accelerated growth of new Associates within our Talent practice, and improving the personal performance of experienced Associates and customers, providing expert advice on talent.

Andrew Medhurst

Andrew has over 25 years' experience in Technology and following a four-year engineering apprenticeship in the Royal Navy, embarked on a commercial career providing technology solutions in the then fledging Telecoms sector, working with UK SMEs and corporates at Mercury Communications / Cable & Wireless and BT Infonet. A chance encounter led to Andrew specialising in Technology talent in 1998, joining The Synergy Group to establish a new Communications practice specialising in the Telecoms sector, working with numerous Cloud & Connectivity providers including Cable & Wireless (now Vodafone), Colt Technology and Equant (now Orange Business Services). Andrew's first passion has always been people and the positive impact technology can bring to society, working with a broad range of customers in the Technology sector, Life Sciences and, more recently Public Sector. When not spending time with his teenage family on the East Kent coast, Andrew volunteers at a local radio station in Thanet (Academy FM), keeping fit playing 5-a-side football (when COVID allows) and is a fair-weather cyclist.

David Ardley

David is an expert in leading large transformational programs that create meaningful organisational change, deliver millions in costs efficiencies and drive improvement in IT support operations, culture and processes. At Genomics England, he delivered a cloud strategy to futureproof and support the migrations of applications from legacy infrastructure, implemented real-time IT financials by implementing data analytics and developed highly efficient storage and HPC for the 5M Genome project. He delivered an AWS research facility within three months to support 500 external researchers working on Covid-19. David also successfully implemented an agile dev-ops team, improving productivity 5-fold within a year. David has led and played an instrumental role in numerous large mergers, including Chase, JP Morgan, and XL/Catlin. He attributes his success working on these highly-pressured projects to maintaining a clear focus, quick decision making and remaining agnostic to the many technical choices that need to be made. David combines his significant background with on-premises data centers, storage, and server environment with strong attention to client experience, culture, training, and leadership, which has enabled him to implement change successfully. David's philosophy is to "keep things simple, get to a single technology and evolve from there." In his spare time, David enjoys keeping fit, mountain biking, road and running, and swimming and is a member of the GB Triathlon team competing regularly at the world championships. He also enjoys playing the guitar and has a keen interest in the evolution of the Blockchain ecosystem.

Helen Biglan

Helen keeps the cogs whizzing behind the scenes and is the main administrative interface for customers. Before taking a career break to raise 2 children, Helen worked in New York before embarking on a career in retail, working at Harrods as a Buyer. She enjoys taking her dog (that she didn't want, but now loves!) for walks on the beach and volunteers part-time for Oasis, a local charity in Margate and is Take That's No.1 fan!
