LASER DENTISTRY - Key Persons

Dr. Michael Contardo, DDS, attended the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry where he obtained his DDS degree in 1978. In 1979, Dr. Contardo opened his practice in St. Joseph, Minnesota. He has studied extensively with Dental lasers and has a Fellowship in the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry. With over 42 years of practicing dentistry, he's gotten pretty good at it. All kidding aside, the greatest joy comes from the deep relationships that have developed over the years with his clients. Dentistry is a means to helping people on many levels. ​Dr. Contardo has four children, nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. His interests include mountain biking, artisan bread baking, reading, hiking, snowboarding, camping and fly fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. ​Dr. Contardo is active in the community. He is a member of the institutional review board at the College of St. Benedict/St. Johns University and is a member of the committee for St. Joseph Downtown Development. He is also a supporter of the CSB/SJU fine arts programming that brings many diverse and interesting artists/performers to central Minnesota.
