MARC J BROOKS

Mr. Brooks is a Robotics Software Test Engineer for the OSAM-1 program at NASA. His background and interests primarily revolve around robotic and embedded system development, focusing on electronics, hardware design, control, localization, perception, and system integration in robots and autonomous vehicles. Past projects have involved platforms of various sizes, ranging from meso-scale biomimetic platforms to large Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs). He is proficient in C/C++, Python, Linux, ANVEL, and Robot Operating System (ROS). He also has experience with Genetic/Evolutionary Algorithms, vehicle routing problems, Message Passing Interface (MPI), Unreal Engine, and the Open Graphics Library (OpenGL)... My aim is to help further applied research in autonomous mobility for robotic systems using my electrical & computer engineering expertise.
