To fulfill our mission, Mannkind directs action toward the three most challenging issues facing our world today: the plight of disadvantaged and vulnerable children in developing countries; the growing threat of climate change that endangers our way of life; eradication of poverty, homelessness and hunger. Although these issues are seemingly insurmountable, we take great pride in each meal we serve, each tree we plant, and each child we defend against exploitation... We believe that many of the world's afflictions can be traced to systemic ignorance which only serves to emphasize our differences. This leads to a detachment from the greater consciousness and incites apathy or anger toward one other. By practicing compassion and empathy through our actions, we will inspire the necessary kindness that shall break the perceived barriers that inherently divide us.
