Balpreet Dhaliwal

Job Titles:
  • Chartered Professional Accountant
Balpreet is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in Accounting and Economics from SFU's Beedie School of Business. He worked as a Senior Accountant in the tax and compilation practice of Dusangh & Co., Chartered Accountants. Today, he is the Director of Tax and Accounting of Isle of Mann Property Group. Since 2009, Balpreet has been an engaged member of Mannkind Charity by helping organize Canadian and global initiatives. He oversees the bookkeeping and accounting functions of Mannkind. Balpreet enjoys playing ice hockey and spending time with his two daughters.

Harry Bajwa

Harry Bajwa graduated from the University of British Columbia, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and a Certificate in Early Years Education. At UBC, Harry was a varsity athlete and Wesbrook Scholar. Harry is the CEO of Knowledge Builders, a social enterprise that provides children in developing countries with access to education. His other initiative, birthcontrol.com, advocates for reproductive rights globally. From an early age, he has been involved in philanthropic initiatives. In high school, Harry organized bi-weekly financial literacy workshops at homeless shelters to help the rising homeless population in his city secure jobs. Harry manages the operations of Mannkind Charity. He liaises with members to validate operating procedures and reconcile expenditures to the budget.

James Randhawa

James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia, and Juris Doctor from UBC's Faculty of Law. James started his career as an Associate at Aydin Bird Business Lawyers, a boutique business law firm specializing in corporate, trust, commercial and real estate law. Today, James is Director of Operations and General Counsel of Isle of Mann Property Group. James has been involved with Mannkind since its inception in 2009. James handled the due-diligence and process of registering Mannkind as a charity. He oversees the annual budget and ensures all projects are sufficiently funded on an ongoing basis. James enjoys watching Star Wars with his son, Oliver, and spending time outdoors with his family.

Jatinder Sandhar

Jatinder holds a Master of Business Administration and is a strategic business leader known for his ability to forecast upcoming trends and opportunities, especially in emerging markets. Jatinder has worked with publicly traded companies such as Tyco International, FirstService, and Shaw Communications. Jatinder actively seeks to give back through serving on the Board of College of Physical Therapists of BC, Mannkind Charity, and as a founding member of the South Asian Business Association. At Mannkind, he liaises with sponsors and coordinates responsibilities for volunteers. Jatinder loves to spend time with his two daughters and do outdoor activities.

Kailash Neupane

Kailash was born in Sindhupalchok, Nepal. His grandfather was a social worker, and his work inspired him from an early age. After completing his MBA from the University of Sunderland, he returned to Nepal and started working with charitable organizations to support Nepal's underprivileged children. When Nepal was hit with a devastating earthquake in 2015, Kailash was involved in relief materials distribution and helping affected people. His role at Mannkind Charity is to complete secretarial work, which involves accounting, budgeting, report writing, arranging meetings with different NGOs, minute writing, and updating organizational documents as per the Nepal government rules and regulations. Kailash enjoys travelling in his free time.

Manveer Pattar

Manveer is an operations professional within the private health care sector in Canada. She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration focused in Health Care Administration/Management from The University of British Columbia. She has been an active member of Mannkind since 2010. She is a free-spirited, value-driven, creative force who's core passions align with the mandates of Mannkind. Her contributions include over 19 years of volunteer experience with a variety of local and international not-for-profit organizations specializing in event planning, fundraising, and corporate governance. Manveer enjoys hiking in beautiful British Columbia, skiing, and kickboxing.

Namrita Sandhu

Namrita was born and raised in the Lower Mainland and studied sciences in post-secondary. After practicing dental hygiene for ten years, she completed a further designation through Thompson Rivers University. She is passionate about patient care and preventative health. Namrita has been a member of Mannkind Charity since 2010. Her role encompasses organizing fundraising initiatives and collaborating with volunteers on project enhancement. Her involvement with Mannkind was sparked by a desire to become a positive role model for her children and to be involved with a group that strives to improve the lives of children. Namrita was impressed by the charity's objective to not only feed and educate children but to also improve their lives by harnessing their creativity through the arts. In her spare time, Namrita enjoys outdoor activities with her family and has recently taken up golf.
