Katlin Mahley

Katlin Mahley is an Executive Managing Member of St. Louis Law and Mediation. Though she practices law generally, according to the needs of her clients, her areas of emphasis are family law, estate planning, mediation and property law. Katlin is a trained and certified civil and family law mediator. She has hundreds of hours of mediation experience and has mediated a variety of matters, such as landlord-tenant, business and famliy law issues. As an Undergraduate at Vanderbilt University, Katlin graduated Cum Laude with a double major. She received a BA in Political Science and Spanish. After graduating, she moved to Chicago and worked in the fast-paced financial industry for two years. She returned to her native St. Louis to attend Saint Louis University School of Law. Katlin is knowledgeable on international legal matters and has spent an extensive amount of time living and traveling abroad. She has lived for extended periods of time in three Spanish-speaking countries and has achieved Spanish fluency, which she utilizes with clients. Katlin also received a Certificate in International and Comparative Law from Saint Louis University School of Law and spent a summer studying international law in Rhodos, Greece. Additionally, Katlin serves as a Volunteer Lawyer for the Family Court Project, a branch of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. She is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and St. Louis' Women Lawyer's Association. She has also spent many hours volunteering her time translating and transcribing Spanish-speakers' testimony from Spanish to English for use in Court proceedings.
