Dr. Sarah Jurkovic

Dr. Sarah Jurkovic is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who earned her doctoral degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL in 2014, and her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN in 2009. Sarah recently moved to Michigan from the Chicagoland area in 2017 and works in a private practice in Ann Arbor with children, adolescents, families, and adults across the lifespan. Sarah enjoys working with clients who are dealing with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, school problems, life transitions, adjustment disorders, trauma, and more; she recently completed training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Understanding and applying knowledge of help-seeking behaviors has always been an interest of Sarah's; her doctoral dissertation was on Croatian-American Acculturation and Attitudes Toward Seeking Mental Health Services.

Felicia Brabec

Felicia is a clinical psychologist who earned her doctorate in 2003 from Illinois School of Professional Psychology. That same year, she moved to Ann Arbor for her Post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan. Additionally, she earned a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston College. Felicia's Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology is from Saint Mary's of Notre Dame. For over twenty years, Felicia has been working with clients. She has a private practice in Ann Arbor where she works with adolescents and adults. Her speciality areas include mood disorders, particularly bipolar disorders, racial, sexual orientation, and gender identity work, grief and loss, eating disorders, and sport psychology. Felicia also serves the community as a Washtenaw County Commissioner; and, currently she is running for the Michigan House of Representatives. As a County Commissioner, Felicia wrote and championed the first ever Racial Equity Policy in the county, working alongside community members, staff, and other elected officials to address inequities that exist within our community. Felicia lives in Pittsfield Township with her husband, David, and their two children, Alex and Viviann.

Joy Wolfe Ensor

A first generation American born and raised in New York City, Joy earned her BA in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College before moving to Ann Arbor for graduate studies in psychology at the University of Michigan. She has been a practicing clinical psychologist for over 40 years. Joy spent most of her career in the public sector, working with children, adolescents and families at MDHHS-Hawthorn Center, where she was the the Director of Psychology Training at Hawthorn Center. Since 2008 she has had a general private practice and is an emeritus affiliate at Ann Arbor Center for the Family. Joy's clinical work has centered on a systems-oriented and collaborative problem solving approaches. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and is a Fellow and current President of Michigan Psychological Association.

Sara F. Stein

Sara is a doctoral candidate in the joint social work and clinical psychology program at the University of Michigan. Her research seeks to identify risk for experiencing chronic relational trauma and lack of well-being in adulthood, including early developmental trauma, traumatic stress, and attachment disruptions, in order to develop effective treatment interventions. Sara is also a psychotherapist in the community and.specializes in the treatment of complex developmental trauma using trauma-informed parts approaches that integrate mind-body and mindfulness frameworks. Sara is passionate about bridging the wisdom of the clinical community with empirical research to develop useful and practical clinical tools for the treatment of trauma. She received a master's degree in social work and a master's degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, completed master's work in gender studies at El Colegio de México in Mexico City, and obtained her bachelor's degree from Wellesley College.
