She introduced yoga to elite sport as a preventative and therapeutic tool in 1995 as physiotherapist for the Australian Women's Cycling team. Since then Trish has continued to develop her skills in yoga therapy, being blessed to complete yoga teacher and yoga therapy training with Leanne Davis in the tradition of Kryshnamacharya. As a registered yoga therapist, Trish enjoys teaching her students how to heal their bodies and minds on all levels. Trish also has post graduate training as a breathing educator, linking the remedial patient to a pranayama practice. Trish runs a yoga therapy/physiotherapy practice, A Touch of TLC, from her home at New Brighton, in the Byron Shire. She offers individual sessions designed around a personal practice which rehabilitates the student from the presenting issues and focuses on the prevention of recurrence through ongoing practice. She is deeply connected to community, the environment and her family. Trish is a member of Yoga Australia and the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and has been invited to present at Yoga Australia's regional meeting and Community of Practice. Trish sees her role as an educator, linking a GP community to yoga therapy, within the yoga community and for her students. She is very grateful to have found yoga therapy.
