Our school is located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, about 20 miles west of Harrisburg, the state capital. Middlesex has approximately 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our students are very involved in many activities; band, chorus, after school clubs, Student Council, Colonial Days, and much more... As principal, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school, Middlesex Elementary-home of the Mountain Lions. We want our school to be a safe and pleasant environment in which all students can learn. By working together parents, students, and school staff can make this happen. I cannot stress enough the need for good communication between home and school. Joining together to support our children in the learning process is a perfect formula for a meaningful elementary school experience... Middlesex Elementary was built in 1999. Some of the features of our school include a full size gymnasium, a TV studio for kids called LION TV, and large playground...
