RED DOOR

We are a team of researchers from different institutions that work together to improve health in New Zealand. We are specialists in the disciplines of epidemiology, analytical chemistry, molecular biology, indigenous knowledge, hydroinformatics, urban infrastructure and political theory... We work with researchers from all around the world, but our main offices are in NZ. The Red Door head office is housed in the new University of Auckland, Faculty of Science Building... WBE also enables us to map the spread infectious disease between regions, cities and suburbs, and reveal how disease spreads through time. We have established a network of WBE across NZ which acts as an early warning system for Covid-19 infection in the community. Our data has been used to make decisions at the highest levels of government and prepares us in the event of a future epidemic such as flu.
