RED SKY POTTERY

I came to Santa Fe site unseen and was promptly jarred by the unadorned, rocky landscape. Being from the White Mountains of New Hampshire the absence of water and lush greenery was an acute adjustment. I've come to love how the consistent motion of earth and passage time is written on the surface of the land. It is evocative and seems natural it was here I was drawn to clay. For me pottery is delightful, elemental, and necessary.
