This is the website for Susan Ryerson, LICSW, a psychotherapist specializing in adolescents and young adults, as well as parent consultation and family therapy... I utilize a variety of behavioral and strength based therapeutic approaches tailored to the specific needs of the individual, including parent training and counseling. I am certified and experienced in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). CBT is a highly successful, research-based treatment modality aimed at addressing distorted cognitions, behaviors and emotions while encouraging active, collaborative work with the therapist in a variety of goal oriented, systematic procedures.
