SAMER SAEM ELDAHR

Samer Saem Eldahr (born. 1989) is a music producer and visual artist, born and raised in Aleppo, Syria. He's the pioneer of the music genre 'Electro-tarab', an eclectic and experimental music style that is both rooted in Arabic music theory and electronic dance music; and the music producer behind ‘Hello Psychaleppo', a music project most popular in the SWANA region, but gaining international recognition. Samer is a 2012 art graduate from the faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Aleppo and identifies as an abstract expressionist painter. Two of his paintings were selected as additions to the Ministry of Culture's permanent collection in 2009. Samer incorporates his visual art into his music project whether it be through album illustrations, live visual mapping, or animated music videos.
