SDI is a national NGO/MFI implementing integrated socio-economic programmes for the poor and extreme poor of Bangladesh for the last 3 decades. SDI currently operates in 56 Upazilas of 14 districts. SDI has MF portfolio of Taka 2 billion (USD 25 million). It has a grassroots partners numbering 1,05,000 poor and extreme poor.Besides PKSF, SDI has project partnerships with the OXFAM UK, Govt of Netherlands, Govt of Bangladesh, IFAD, EU, Embassy of Japan, World Bank... SDI is a platform which has drawn NGO professionals who have adopted social development as a life time mission.
