Ster-O-Wave (S-O-W) is developing a portable sterilization cabinet based on proprietary ozone sterilization technology. Our units provide users a much faster, lower total cost, and easier to use process for the sterilization of dental and medical instruments. In addition, our cabinet sterilizes instruments that cannot be subjected to high temperatures, as is the case with autoclaves... Ster-O-Wave's sterilization process includes creating ozone with a powerful corona electric arc discharge by using UV lamps at a wavelength under 200 nm. The UV lamps also sterilize at specific narrow range of wavelength (253.7 nm). Both forms of sterilization, ozone, and UV at 253.7 nm, have been certified by the FDA for sterilization and are predicates for S-O-W's FDA 510(k) submission process.
