I have always been very active thoroughout my life playing many sports. When I was younger I tried many different martial arts, karate, kickboxing and boxing. It was only when I was in my early twenties that I was first introduced to Krav maga. I was looking for a martial art that would enable me to protect myself on the street, as I was attacked by a group of 4 males and hit with a bottle on a night out. I was very lucky not to sustain any serious injuries. The first thing I looked at was MMA. While in the process of looking for a gym to train, a story came on the news about Krav Maga. Once I had seen the news story, I began to research into Krav Maga and I've never looked back.
