Adrian brings a wealth of expertise from his ten years at BlackRock. There he helped found the firm's Portfolio Solutions team, which helped financial advisors define their unique investment philosophy and express it intentionally through their choices of portfolio components and how they come together. He also published dozens of written pieces about investing, most notably the quarterly Advisor Insights Guide.
Adrian lives in Princeton, NJ with his wife and two young sons. He is an avidly involved board member of Arm In Arm, a Trenton-based non-profit that helps county residents in need of food security, housing stability and job training. He also serves actively on the board of the Friends of Herrontown Woods, the stewards of a unique local nature preserve with connections to Albert Einstein.

Matthew has an extensive background in financial services including equity research, asset management, alternative investments, and financial planning. Prior to founding Target Rock, he was a Financial Advisor at Samalin Investment Counsel. Earlier in his career, Matthew worked as a Regional Consultant at Gabelli Funds, an accountant at Farallon Capital Management, and an Associate Analyst at Morgan Keegan. In addition, he has taught as an Adjunct Professor of Economics and has been quoted in financial publications.
When he is not working, you'll likely find him golfing and spending time with his family. He enjoys giving back to his community through Rotary International, and is the co-founder of UpEnd Distilling, a craft gin brand.
