A native of Norway, Olav Gjerde (pronounced Yarday) has been working in the home-building industry for his entire career. Graduating High School in Norway at the age of 16, Olav went right in to Trade School as a Carpenter and then to the rigorous Apprenticeship Program in Carpentry. For almost two decades he worked in the field before going back to HCCC for AutoCAD in 2001. He has later made the switch to specialized 3D software tailored to architects and designers... He started the CAD Studio in 2007 transferring his almost 20 years of extensive experience in the field, and almost a decade of design and drafting experience in to his detailed CAD-drawings and 3D renderings
