CHICO STUDIO - Key Persons
Francisco Modesto is an educator, designer and creative born in Alcanena, a village in the most central of the traditional provinces of Portugal. His work is known to be inherently multidisciplinary, having the privileged of collaborating with renowned brands across the world in the field of communication, design, and culture.
His work has been recognized by numerous design organizations, institutions and publications including Adobe, Behance, Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE), Clube de Criativos de Portugal (CCP), among others.
His academic background ranges from design, multimedia, management to arts and culture. Francisco has a degree in "Graphic and Multimedia Design" with a focus on motion graphics and organization of cultural events. He is also a master in "Multimedia", specialized in human-centered design and mobile applications.
Currently, he works full-time as a senior motion designer at FABAMAQ, a Portuguese Software House in Oporto, Portugal. In the after-hours, he is an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave were pioneers the classes of "Typography for Digital Media", "Motion Design I & II", and "Fundamentals for Digital Media". Also, he is the founder of "The Chico∙Studio", a freelance design identity where he is responsible for designing communication experiences for start-ups, non-profit organizations and education.
