Amanda Cranford holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Gardner-Webb University. She has 12 years of financial services and management experience. Amanda has been employed with State Employees' Credit Union as a Senior Financial Services Officer II since 2008. She is a strong advocate for school choice. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with family. Amanda, her husband, Joseph, and their two children reside in Mount Gilead.
Brandi Powers joined the Tillery Charter Academy staff in 2019 as a First Grade
Teacher. Before her teaching career, Brandi served as a Youth and Children's Pastor in
Chrissy Fisher is a committed proponent of school choice. She is passionate about working with young children and volunteering within her community. She has spent time working in the children's department of her local library as well as being a pre-school assistant. She is also a co-founder and current leader of a local group for parents and young children. Chrissy and her husband currently reside in Mount Gilead, North Carolina with their 3 young boys.
Fred Ingle holds a B.A. in Organizational Psychology, an M.S. in Human Resource Management, and an Ed.D. in Technical Education from Clemson University. Fred also holds an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He taught at several universities at the graduate level for a number of years. Fred has been employed as Senior Vice President for the Lancer Group since 1988. He is a strong advocate for robust curricula at the public-school level to prepare our youth for the challenges of college and the work environment. Fred, his wife, Shelly, and their two children reside at Uwharrie Point on Badin Lake in Montgomery County.
Teresa Barber joined Tillery Charter Academy for the 2019-2020 school year following 12 years of service at Episcopal Day School in Southern Pines, NC. While at Episcopal Day School, Mrs. Barber taught Kindergarten through 2nd grade, and served as the Resource Coordinator for 3 years.
Her career began at the Holy Name School in Brooklyn, NY where she taught Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies. She later moved on to teach Kindergarten at Camelback Academy in Glendale, AZ and 1st grade at the St. Luke School in Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Barber grew up on Staten Island, NY and in Coral Springs, FL where she graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL and her Master of Science in Education from Wagner College on Staten Island, NY. Mrs. Barber also received her post graduate degree in Principal Administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
Mrs. Barber views a positive school environment as the key to establishing successful students, teachers, and parents. She believes in partnering with all constituents, including the members of the community to cultivate the learning experience at Tillery Charter Academy.
As a busy mom of 2 boys, Mrs. Barber enjoys spending time with her family, running, and traveling to New York to visit with family.
