Preparing Reputable Early-Ed Practitioners (PREP) is Virginia's first Child Development Credentialing program. Our early competency-based credential is unique because we meet the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) standards, training requirements and our certification NEVER EXPIRES. Currently, PREP Child Development Credentialing Program is being piloted by PREP Board of Virginia Professional Recognition. The PREP Board requires120 clock hours of professional development training which includes Virginia's required trainings for early childhood staff and 480 hrs. of programmatic experience...
