Gavrila Brotz focuses her practice on health care litigation, business and contract disputes, and provides trial and appellate support.
As part of her business litigation practice, she handles general commercial litigation cases that involve issues including business torts, breach of contract disputes, and statutory claims. Ms. Brotz has assisted in the defense of healthcare facilities in various class action and individual claims alleging breach of data privacy and data security issues.
Ms. Brotz is part of a team of lawyers that handles strategic issues for healthcare providers to protect data created under various medical quality review functions. She assists healthcare facilities and practitioners in addressing requests for information sought under Article X, section 25 of the Florida Constitution, commonly known as Amendment 7, The Patients' Right to Know about Adverse Medical Incidents. As part of her practice, Ms. Brotz has appeared throughout the State of Florida, litigating before the Courts regarding how to interpret the constitutional provision and its effects on discovery, use, and admissibility of such materials. Jennifer Christianson focuses her practice on the health care industry. Her experience includes operations, regulatory compliance, civil litigation, and governmental and internal investigations. Before becoming a lawyer, Ms. Christianson worked in the healthcare industry in a variety of roles. Above all, she has a passion for healthcare and enjoys helping the patients her clients serve.

Jessica Melendez focuses her practice on the health care industry. She assists health care entities such as hospitals, health systems and physician practices in operational and regulatory matters, government and internal investigations and litigation.
Ms. Melendez has a wide-range of experience in the health care industry. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Melendez received a bachelor's degree in Health and Societies with a concentration in Health Policy and Law. She also interned for the general counsel of one of the largest hospitals in Puerto Rico. While in law school, Ms. Melendez worked in the legal department of a national health care solutions company, interned for the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals, and participated in a clinic which assisted indigent clients with obtaining health care benefits. Magda Rodriguez represents a variety of health care entities, including health systems, hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and physician practices. She counsels these health care entities in operational and regulatory matters, litigation avoidance and provides representation in civil litigation and government investigations.
Ms. Rodriguez has experience in medical billing and insurance claims. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Rodriguez worked for a physician practice resolving insurance disputes and denials of claims. She also assisted the physician practice with its compliance with the regulatory requirements of HIPAA which were evolving at the time.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Rodriguez was an intern in the legal department of a Fortune 100 healthcare company. MORE
Paul Borr focuses his practice on complex civil litigation in state and federal court. He has particular experience representing health care facilities and health care providers in litigation matters, particularly matters related to patient privacy and Article X, Section 25 of the Florida Constitution, more commonly known as Amendment 7.

Stefano Battistoni graduated from the University of Miami where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Music and a minor specializing in Business Law. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Mr. Battistoni attended and graduated, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
