Taavo Godtfredsen is an advisor and coach to private equity and venture capital leaders and CEOs and is the co-founder of AdvantageCEO. AdvantageCEO's mission is to connect and strengthen private equity-backed CEOs to increase shareholder value faster. He is also the leadership and coaching advisor to the global 100 Coaches Organization founded by Marshall Goldsmith, the world's most influential leadership thinker (Thinkers50).
Taavo is a successful business leader turned certified CEO coach. He leverages his own leadership experience (selling a private company with his business partner to a NASDAQ listed public company) as well as insights developed from the last 15 years working with hundreds of the greatest minds in business and leadership to support his clients.
Taavo specializes in coaching and advising CEOs from private equity-owned middle market companies. His work also includes executive and team assessment as well as designing and delivering C-Suite programs to increase alignment and performance.
He is a master certified Goldsmith executive and team coach with an additional coaching certification from the College of Executive coaching. Taavo received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in Psychology and his MBA from Babson College.
