BERKS ALLIANCE

Conceived in 2015 as an organization committed to community development in Berks County and Greater Reading, the Berks Alliance is a collaboration of anchor institutions in Berks County. These organizations represent some of Berks County's largest employers including the Reading Hospital, all of our Colleges and Universities, and some of our large manufacturing companies to name a few. All of these organizations can think and plan in long cycles due to the likelihood that they will remain in Berks County in some form for 25 years of more and, therefore, be impacted by changes in our community and economic environment... Our mission is to provide a clean, safe and green environment while improving the health, wealth and education attainment of our citizens. We are working to assure there is an adequate supply of living wage jobs and an available supply of people to fill them...
